Outstanding former Salpointe player Liam O’Brien (Paradise Valley) was named ACCAC D-II Pitcher of the Week for allowing just two hits and striking out six in six innings pitched. O’Brien took the win as the Pumas beat Phoenix College his 14-0.
Ex Marana Outstanding Gigi Garcia (Arizona Western) had 9 hits, 7 RBIs, 3 homers and scored 5 runs in 15 at-bats last week. Mrs. Matador won her 3–1 in her four games against Pima and Glendale.
