It's also to help other people enjoy their journey through life and to be an emissary of hope.”

According to the Post and Courier, Senator Noth's brother, Ben Scott, served as groomsman, and Senator Noth's college friend, Joni Blair, served as bridesmaid.

Guests included close family and friends, including former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, South Dakota Sen. John Thune and Scott's fellow South Carolina senator and Palmetto State Republican Representative Lindsey Graham, according to The Post and Courier.

Scott, who began dating Nose in 2022 after being introduced by a mutual friend, said the wedding made him feel like “a kid in a candy store,” according to the outlet. “I'd been waiting forever for this day.”
