The NBA has a problem…a big problem.

Many people think the NBA in 2024 will suck, and they’re not wrong. Because the league is now so full of 3-point shots that it’s hard to watch (and there’s no defense being played while we’re playing). It’s become a bit of a joke. But don’t take it from me, take it from Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. He, too, believes today’s league is shit.

The self-proclaimed King spoke about the current state of the NBA after being asked about declining ratings and how little interest there is in the league at this point. (Related: Army-Navy football game hits record high ratings after Trump & Co. appearance)

LeBron kept it true when he said the NBA today is all about excitement. And not only that, he criticized the league’s changes regarding the All-Star Game, something his counterpart Kevin Durant has already done. In other words, this just adds to the list of NBA problems, and there are many.

“It’s not just the All-Star Game. It’s our game overall,” James said. “There’s a lot of shitty threes being shot. So it’s a bigger story than just the All-Star Game.”
