NBA All-Star weekends are very cooked.
It’s no secret that many people have lost interest when it comes to the league’s annual events. There are also many complaints about NBA fans who still exist. And those complaints and lack of interest get worse and worse over time.
To try to fix things, or at least put a band-aid, the league is Four-Team Tournament This year will replace the All-Star Game. (Related: “I’ll be fired anyway, f*ck it!”: Shaq crashes “inside the NBA” in an incredibly hilarious scene)
The four competing teams were selected by the NBA Inside the NBA co-hosts, and played in the game where the team that first scored 40 points was the winner. Eventually, they became Team Shack vs. Team Charles Barkley in the Championship, and Team Shack got a victory that no one cares about.

Only a total of 60 minutes of basketball was played in a two and a half hours of airtime before the TNT Crew’s game break in the final.
