LMAO! It Took The Internet One Day To Hate Mark Zuckerberg’s New ‘Twitter Killer’

This is really interesting.

As Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk continue to feud, their story takes a new turn when Zuckerberg’s meta company releases a new app called Threads dubbed the “Twitter killer.” However, the app already seems to be rife with controversy, with only free speech being abolished for now.

When Threads first launched, people flooded in to sign up, and their quick response has now resulted in more questions than anything else. It’s been less than 24 hours since kickoff, but there are already some examples of threads attacking people with censorship, like sticking warning labels on their accounts.

The thread asks the user, “Are you sure you want to follow -account name-?” “This account has repeatedly posted false information that has been vetted by independent fact-checkers or violates our community guidelines.”

Surprise, surprise, surprise!

And it’s even worse than just censorship. Collection of private data Also, it seems that the people’s Instagram accounts linked in the thread have issues. So if you try to delete the thread, Instagram will also try to delete it. Frankly, this sounds like a catastrophe, is anyone shocked? (Related article: Far From The End! Because, of course, you’d expect this from the *clear* meta.
