YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – A woman robbed a local Circle K gas station at knifepoint early Wednesday morning.

The Yuma Police Department (YPD) announced around 3 a.m. Wednesday that they responded to a Circle K store in the area near W 8th Street and S Avenue B.

The YPD also said the suspect broke into the store and demanded money with a knife in hand. After the suspect received the cash, YPD did not disclose how much the suspect received, but she walked north from the store on foot.

The YPD also said the suspect was a 5-foot-5-tall, skinny Caucasian woman with reddish hair, wearing all black clothing, a black cap, white tennis shoes, and a black medical mask. .
