The local chapter of the Yavapai County Conservative Party for a Constitutional Republic (ConCR) will welcome three of its officially announced candidates to lead the Arizona Republican Party (AZGOP) at its next meeting on Saturday, Jan. 21. Announced.st. Current Republican Party Chairman Dr. Kelly Ward, who has led the Republican Party since 2020, is not seeking re-election. ConCR usually meets on the fourth Saturday of each month at 11:00 am at the Bible Baptist Church in Chino Valley. The conference is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. A new Republican chairman is elected every two years at the Republican Annual Meeting.This year’s Annual General Meeting will be held on January 28.th At Dream City Church in North Phoenix. By law, each county in Arizona elects representatives called state commissions. This delegate is eligible to vote on any changes to the officers and resolutions or rules made prior to the meeting. This year, the Yavapai County Republican Party Committee (YAVGOP) will send her 120 state commissioners eligible to vote at the state convention. Her five officially announced candidates are now vying for leadership. Vera Gebran, Steve Daniels and Lori Martinez will speak at a conservative gathering in Chino Valley on January 21st.st.
Lori Martinez has deep roots in the Hispanic community. She is a Yavapai County resident and founder of the Yavapai County Republican Hispanic Congress. In 2022, she was named Arizona State Chair of the National Organization. She was a member of the Republican Women of Prescott (RWOP) and Black, a founding member of the Republican Women of Canyon City, co-chair of which she served two terms. Martinez is a local businesswoman with a background in mortgage lending. In her campaign literature, she outlines the Republican Party’s personal vision and “mission.” This includes election integrity, candidate screening, fundraising, and recruiting and training district committees, which she describes as “the foundation of our party.”
Steve Daniels is a longtime activist for conservative causes. He is one of the founders and current president of the Arizona Patriot Party. The Patriot Party is a conservative organization that seeks to move the Republican Party in a more conservative direction. Mr. Daniel describes himself as a “constitutional conservative.” He is running for president of the state, returning the state’s Republican Party to its conservative roots of restricted government and personal liberties. He advocates stronger outreach to conservative voters and conservative independents who have left the party because they failed to live up to their ideals.
Vera Gebran describes herself as a “political newcomer” who has been forced by recent events to confront “monumental events” that threaten the security and way of life of her country. She believes America has been “compromised” by the issue of electoral integrity. In Arizona, Republicans must be ready to wage “war” to save our state, she says. Arizona Republican Speaker’s announcement speech posted on her website, vovera.com , she clarified Trump’s theme of “a country in decline,” saying that “65%” of Arizona voters are skeptical of the election’s integrity. She is running for chairman of the Arizona Republican Party, bringing the party to a “reset” and refocusing on winning the election.
The Yavapai County Chapter of the Conservative Party for a Constitutional Republic is a group of conservative activists dedicated to defending and promoting the values of representative government enshrined in the United States Constitution. They are a private organization and are not directly affiliated with any political party. However, most members are either registered Republicans or conservative independent breakaways who are in public service or who are current or previously elected candidates for official or public office.
ConCR meets monthly on the fourth Saturday of each month at the Bible Baptist Church at 3490 N. State Road 89 in Chino Valley. Recent speakers include her newly elected CD2 Congressman Eli Crane, Congressmen Paul Gossar and Andy Biggs, newly elected State Education Supervisor Tom Horn, LD1 State Representative Quang Nguyen, and Selina Bliss . Other state and local officials are scheduled to speak throughout the next year.
ConCR is a membership organization. However, in order to inform voters about important issues and candidates, guests of public interest his speaker appearances will be open to the public. All who wish to meet the candidates for Republican chairmanship and learn about their positions on the issue and plans for Republican states are cordially invited to attend.
