Flagstaff Man Charged with Attempted Murder

Flagstaff, Arizona – A man has been charged with attempted murder following a serious incident involving a woman in his apartment on Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities reported that police received a non-urgent call around 2:30 PM regarding a possible violation of a protection order at an apartment on Cortland Boulevard, near Country Club Drive. It seems the dispatcher could hear the altercation during the call.

Upon arriving, officers found the woman inside the apartment with life-threatening injuries and quickly transported her to Flagstaff Medical Center.

Eventually, investigators apprehended the suspect in the vicinity.

The man is now held at Coconino County Jail facing charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault, and various domestic violence-related offenses.
