Lois Arline Grandy-Reynolds | GilaValleyCentral.Net

Lois Arline Grundy Reynolds was born on June 25, 1953 in Buckeye, Arizona to Roderick U. Grundy and Keir Arline Wittsman Grundy. Their family has been ranchers and farmers for generations.

Lois had pretty curly red hair, blue eyes and freckles. She attended Buckeye Elementary School, Buckeye High School, and Northern Arizona University. She played the clarinet in her high school band.

Mr. Lois worked as an Arizona state civil servant until his retirement at the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant. She married Leon J. Reynolds on August 3, 2013 in Duncan, Arizona. Leon owned Reynolds Hay Farm and Lois was a member of Greenlee County’s Cowbells and together they were very active in the community.

Lois sang alto in many choirs and was always in key. She was a very good singer. Lois loved to travel. One of her highlights on her to-do list was a visit to Australia and New Zealand. While there, she parasailed over the Great Barrier Reef with her great friend Ann Campbell.

Lois had no children of her own, but she was always considered a second mother to her eight nephews and nieces. Lois Reynolds passed away on July 9, 2023. Her survivor is her husband, Leon J. Reynolds. Her Mr. Reynolds has her three children, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
