Just to say…I’m writing this with a smile on my face as I open a can of Lipton hard iced tea.
Last month, Bud Light resumed its regular social media campaigns after taking a hiatus following Dylan Mulvaney’s downright disastrous marketing decisions, but since then, the un-American beer has been met with a glowing negative response. It continues to be exposed to waves.
For the most part, Anheuser-Busch drinking publishes posts featuring feel-good factors and people who are apparently having the best time of their lives while drinking. America’s favorite traitor beer.
But the problem (it’s their problem, not ours) is that the post is inundated with comments like “I want to drink urine.” (smile)
Something similar happened last weekend, when Bud Light once again tweeted about beer drinkers partying, and overtly grade A comments are now circulating rapidly. Sunday’s tweet was a photo of two women outdoors, one of them holding a case of Bud Light (24 pieces). Oh, and it even had a cute caption that read, “Summer Sundays made easy.”

And, needless to say, they were spectacularly overwhelmed by pure Americana.
