Longleaf Recovery and Wellness Expands Mental Health Programs
Longleaf Recovery and Wellness has announced the expansion of its mental health wellness programs to Huntsville and Baldwin County, aimed at improving access to intensive outpatient care across Alabama.
The new locations will offer services that are often challenging to find outside of a hospital, catering to individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and various mental health issues.
“There’s simply not enough mental health care available because the right level of support often isn’t accessible,” a representative mentioned. “Our programs meet people where they are, promoting effective clinical care without forcing them to leave their communities or disrupt their lives.”
The expansion will feature intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) care, acting as a middle ground between weekly sessions and full hospitalization. Services will include individual therapy, group counseling, psychiatric care, medication management, and personalized wellness plans.
Each facility will have an interdisciplinary team of licensed professionals specialized in trauma-informed care. The programs aim to facilitate emotional and psychological recovery while ensuring clients can maintain their work, family, and daily responsibilities.
With a focus on flexible scheduling and community-based services, the new facilities in Huntsville and Baldwin County seek to meet the increasing demand for accessible mental health care in both North and South Alabama.
