Lori Loughlin will be returning to major television for the first time with a recurring role in Dick Wolf’s new police drama On Call.
The famous actress was sentenced to two months in prison in 2020 for her role in the Operation Varsity Blues college admissions scandal that involved her Desperate Housewives castmate Felicity Huffman. Ta. She has since returned to television in bit roles and guest appearances, but since she and husband Mossimo Giannulli pleaded guilty to paying bribes to get their daughters to appear on TV shows, she has not been given regular roles beyond the GAC network. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “On Call” is a series written by Dick Wolf’s Wolf Entertainment. The show will be released on Prime Video as an eight-episode series on January 9, 2025. Wolf’s acclaimed credits include “Law & Order,” “Chicago” and the “FBI” series.
Loughlin will co-star with Troian Bellisario of “Pretty Little Liars” and Brandon Larracuente, who starred in “The Good Doctor.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, she will also be joined by ER’s Eric La Salle and Tulsa King’s Rich Ting.

The series is described as an “adrenal-stimulating, gut-stimulating police drama” and will air in 30-minute episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Loughlin plays the role of Lt. Bishop.

Tim Walsh and Elliot Wolfe are the co-creators of “On Call.” Universal TV and Amazon MGM Studios are producing the show in association with Wolf Entertainment.
