Damn, the NFL is cruel. Here’s another example.
Looks like a wide receiver cooper kupp‘s time with the Los Angeles Rams may be coming to an end. There has been some chatter recently that Kup could be placed on the block. The Athletic reported Monday that Los Angeles is in talks with multiple teams about potentially trading Kupp, a Pro Bowl wide receiver and former Super Bowl MVP with the Rams.
The Rams, who have already made multiple calls to trade Kupp, want a second-round pick for the 31-year-old. In fact, Los Angeles is so interested in moving Kupp that they’re even willing to pay a portion of his 2024 salary to ensure a deal gets done.

We all know what this is…money.
According to spot rackKupp is scheduled to make $9.1 million in guaranteed money for the 2024 campaign on his current contract, but here’s what Los Angeles is trying to avoid: $20 million in 2025 and another $20 million in 2026 (to be exact) His annual salary is $19.85 million.
Business is business, and that’s exactly what this situation is.
