Hip hop and the Atlanta Braves… those two have always gone together so well.
Legendary rapper Ludacris had a big day on the mound for his hometown team, the Atlanta Braves, on Wednesday night. Huge.
Rouda was at the ballpark to throw the ceremonial first pitch for the Bravos prior to their game against the Colorado Rockies, and in the process made a reference to the classic 2004 music video “Get Back.” (RELATED: Angels' Ben Joyce throws 105.5 mph fireball, fastest strikeout pitch in modern history)
If you remember the video, Ludacris was sporting some massive muscles. Well, my friend brought them back on Wednesday in some big white sneakers and a custom Braves jersey. Basically, this was the iconic rapper's way of warning Colorado to “back out” of Atlanta if they don't want to put up with the pain.
It was the epic show you would expect from the great Ludacris.

And to add some excitement to Luda's appearance, the Braves handed out bobblehead dolls of the rapper before the game.

If you don't know what “Get Back” means, just watch the music video.
What a perfect night for the Atlanta Braves and Ludacris. It all just couldn't have gone better.
