Kleinlein said the ALMF had its last run in 2019 and had outperformed its destination. He said the new concept is in some ways an extension of what he did with Apache Lake.
Now, Kleinlein says the location of the event gives festival-goers the flexibility to stay and camp there or drive home.

“I wanted to know how far I could go” [if] If you want something traditional, that is, to stay and camp all weekend, not only can you do that, but it’s close enough to town that you have the option of just going for the day and going home and sleeping in your own bed. It wasn’t an option at the last festival,” said Kleinlein.
