A Lutheran church in Minnesota read a “Glorious Creed” about a “non-binary God” and Jesus’ “two fathers” during Sunday services, according to a YouTube livestream recording.

“I believe in a non-binary God whose pronouns are plural. I believe in their child, Jesus Christ. I saw him as the son of his brother,” the church said. “I believe in a rainbow genie who shatters our image of a single white light and refracts it into a rainbow of gorgeous diversity. Believe in the church of resilient everyday saints whose feet are grounded in the mud and whose eyes are staring in wonder at the stars I am love is love and love is love I believe in the call to each one of you, so love, love, I believe, glorious God, help me in my unbelief, Amen.”

I confess that I have benefited from the theft, and we are committed to vigorously defending Indigenous justice and telling the truth that will lead to healing.”
