BULLHEAD CITY — Detectives from the Mojave Regional Drug Enforcement Team are working to investigate the sale of fentanyl in three states.
Kyle James Koza, 30, and his girlfriend Ciara Bryce Kelleher, 27, are being investigated by Magnet for allegedly selling drugs in the area, according to Bullhead Police Department spokeswoman Emily Frommert. said they are doing
On June 29, at about 2:30 p.m., Kyle Koza was arrested in the parking lot of a grocery store on Block 1700 of Lakeside Drive on a warrant for a heavy weapons crime, Frommert said.
Police said Koza was found in possession of several counterfeit pills stamped with the blue “M-30” containing fentanyl and some methamphetamines. Police also reported they later learned Koza was in the parking lot to conduct a drug deal.
While Koza was booked, Magnet executed a drug search warrant against Koza and Kelleher’s residence on the 600 block of Holly Street, but there were more drugs there, Mr Frommert said. A total of 689 fentanyl tablets were seized by police.
Koza was arrested on charges of possession of the drug fentanyl for sale, possession of a dangerous drug for sale, methamphetamine, money laundering, and a pending felony warrant.
Kelleher was arrested at his home during a search warrant on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale and money laundering.
Both were incarcerated at the Mojave County Jail in Kingman.
