It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Flagstaff ultimately got the results he wanted on Monday. They skirted the Skyhawks in the Deer Valley 5-4. For the Eagles, the victory was nothing new, as they now sit in eight straights.

Cailee Culwell spent all eight innings on the mound, and it’s clear why. She surrendered four runes with 11 hits and scored 9 Ks.
