A California man reportedly shot and killed a woman Saturday morning after he allegedly began harassing local residents and attacking one of them.
The deaths reportedly began shortly before 1 a.m. in Long Beach when an unidentified woman began banging on the front doors of several nearby homes. ABC7.

ABC 7 reported that another resident told the woman to “go away” and the suspect allegedly hit another woman with a stick after preventing her from getting out of the car. When the alleged victim started screaming for help, one of the neighbors ran outside with a handgun and yelled at the suspect to stop hitting the victim. ABC 7 reported that the woman charged at the man, who fired a single fatal shot.
“Through preliminary investigations, including eyewitness statements, detectives learned that an adult man was observing an adult woman attacking another woman,” said Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Alyssa Baeza. said.
