Concert Incident in New Jersey
A man from Pennsylvania drove 150 miles to attend a Korn concert at MetLife Stadium on Wednesday night, where he was arrested for inappropriate behavior, according to reports.
Joshua Scornavacchi, 37, from Morton, Pennsylvania, was at the concert featuring Korn and System of A Down. Around 7:30 PM, during Korn’s song “Blinds,” attendees seated in the 200 level noticed Scornavacchi was acting inappropriately just inches away from them.
Other concert-goers captured the incident on their phones, and videos surfaced on TikTok. One clip showed a woman expressing her disgust while Scornavacchi continued his behavior. The situation escalated when a male concert-goer intervened by punching him in the head.
The stadium’s security took notice and contacted New Jersey State Police. Video evidence depicted security personnel and officers escorting Scornavacchi from his seat. He was handcuffed and taken away, facing charges of lewdness and resisting arrest. Authorities indicated that he would be released soon, pending a court appearance.
Reportedly, Scornavacchi works as a Bosun at the Glaze Harbor Historical Ports Bureau in Aberdeen, Washington, where his job involves overseeing equipment and crew.
The incident unfolded during a section of the concert that many assumed would be just typical rock entertainment. The local historical department has not commented on the situation, and attempts to reach Scornavacchi went unanswered.
