The last day recommended to ensure mail-in ballots reach election officials on time for local elections in Tempe and Litchfield Park is March 5, according to the Maricopa County Recorder's Office. It is said that

Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer also reminded voters of the differences between local elections and the March 19 presidential election.
Democrats and Republicans on active early voting lists in Tempe and Litchfield Park received two ballots in the mail.
Ballots for the March 12 precinct election will have a green envelope with a red stripe.
The March 19 PPE vote includes: yyellow Striped green envelope.
“If you did not receive your March 12th ballot in the mail for your jurisdiction. today (March 5) to find a secure drop box location near you to ensure your ballot is returned by March 12 at 7 p.m.,” according to a release from Richer's office.
