Phoenix – Maricopa police officers injured in a shootout last week have been released from hospital, authorities said Thursday.
Officer Sebastian Sanchez is currently recovering from his home, the Maricopa Police Department said.
Sanchez was injured on February 27th and pursued Keith Tyler Plock, a known violent felon with a prominent warrant, police said.

While he chased him, he traded the shootings for police officers and hit Sanchez several times.
Prock was killed in a shootout.
“Thankfully, our officers survive and their prognosis is positive. However, they suffered serious injuries that take time to heal,” Prime Minister Mark Goodman said in a statement.
