A man who disrupted President Joe Biden's State of the Union address was taken from Congress on Thursday.
The man was forced to leave after interrupting Biden by yelling about the U.S. Marines killed during Biden's 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan. He was sitting in the guest gallery. and stood up and shouted “Remember Abbeygate! US Marines!” The man was identified by Fox News as the Gold Star father of one of the slain Marines.

The man was referring to an incident that took place at the monastery gate of Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport on August 26, 2021, during the US withdrawal from Afghanistan. The attack killed 13 American military personnel and approximately 170 Afghan civilians. Since then, families of 13 fallen service members have demanded explanations from President Biden's administration, and Republicans have called for a detailed investigation into the defector's executions.
