Tom Hollander, our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, once accidentally sent a bonus from the box office to Tom Hollander, Hollander told Seth Meyers.
Hollander, known for his role in “The White Lotus,'' appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers'' on Monday and revealed that he once happened to receive a Marvel star bonus. according to Clip posted on YouTube.
“It's like the elephant in the room,” Myers told Hollander. “There's an actor named Tom Holland. Would a person ever make that mistake?”
“Yeah. Yes, it was very difficult,” Hollander replied. “Because I was here first.”
Hollander explained that while he can't be mistaken for the Spider-Man actor in the “context of his appearance,” his name can sometimes confuse him. He explained that there was a misunderstanding over payments while the two worked for the same agency for a short period of time.

He told Myers how, while visiting a friend in England, he checked his email and found an email from the agency. He added that he had just finished a project with the BBC and that he expected to be paid $30,000. He said he felt “smug” about the money. “And it was more money than I've ever experienced. It was a seven-figure amount,” Hollander revealed.

“The smugness I had in the first half quickly disappeared because he was only 20 or so,” he added. “But that's showbiz.”
“One email can turn your life upside down at any time,” Meyers joked.
