America’s Contributions and European Dependence
For many years, European nations have thrived on America’s strength and innovation while not quite contributing their fair share. They seem eager to enjoy our protection, products, and technology but are quick to lecture us on democracy and economic practices.
It feels a bit like a one-sided deal, doesn’t it? The American people end up paying the price.
Moreover, Europe imposes high tariffs and a bunch of regulations on American goods, from agriculture to cars, while simultaneously leveraging European subsidies to flood the market. Even more concerning, the EU is specifically targeting American tech companies—not because they’re doing anything wrong, but simply due to their success. This isn’t competition; it creates barriers to fair economic interaction.
It goes beyond that, unfortunately. European countries are funding healthcare with less from American investments and testing than what Americans pay for the same medications produced by U.S. companies. Their governments decide, often arbitrarily, which drugs should be priced and covered. Consequently, only wealthy countries can access around 43% of new drugs, compared to an astonishing 87% for patients in the U.S. These policies are detrimental not only to Americans who bear the financial burden but also to patients globally.
A recent analysis revealed that about 26% of U.S. drug prices serve to cover costs that other nations avoid. It’s like a hidden tax that American patients have been shouldering for years.
Washington and Brussels seem eager to keep things as they are, yet many Americans are fed up. They sense that they are being exploited and are looking for a president who will prioritize American interests. It’s time to stop apologizing for our strength and start insisting on respect for what we contribute.
Under President Trump’s leadership, we are witnessing a shift. His distinct approach to NATO and global trade continues with leaders like Vice President J.D. Vance. Their recent calls for fair treatment and accountability reflect a growing need for a fresh wave of conservative leadership capable of challenging globalist narratives.
Enough is enough. The current administration seems consumed with seeking European approval, which has resulted in expanded government control while ignoring how other nations are taking advantage of us. This one-sided advantage has left many Americans feeling frustrated, especially in key states that President Trump won—states often at the forefront of this European exploitation.
President Trump has never shied away from expressing what many in the political establishment are unwilling to say. America deserves better, and it’s time to reclaim our stance.
With Trump and Vance at the helm, there’s a push against unfair trade practices. The focus now is on prioritizing healthcare, which includes countering CCP influence and reviving our supply chains. A crucial first step? Making sure Europe and other rich countries pay their fair share for innovative medical treatments. This shift could create a strong global trade framework that promotes fair pricing while ending luxury rides at America’s expense.
Only Trump has shown the resolve to hold Europe accountable.
He’s done it before, and there’s every reason to believe he can do it again.
