MCC gives Kingman community a second chance at prom | The Buzz -The buzz in Bullhead City – Lake Havasu City – Kingman – Arizona – California

Mojave County – Mojave Community College is hosting a makeup prom for those who missed out due to COVID or want to relive high school memories.

The event is free and features music, dancing, refreshments, and photography. Community members aged 18 and over are invited to Make Him Prom at the MCC’s Beale Street Center on Saturday, March 25 from 7:00 p.m. to her 10:00 p.m. 309 E Beale Street at Kingman.

MCC Kingman Campus Librarian Erin Roper said: “This is a chance for those who have missed prom to stand up and get a second chance for those who have had a bad date or a terrible time. Or if you love the prom experience, let the nostalgia pass.” It’s your chance to have fun.”

With the theme “Decades”, attendees will have the opportunity to compete in three different prom court categories: Best Dressed Couples, Most Authentic Decades Outfit and Most Creative Outfit.

The event is sponsored by the Council for Student Activities – Kingman Campus and the Mojave Community College Foundation – Kingman Chapter, with support from the Phoenix Truck Driving Institute, Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce, and Mojave Community College Alumni Association.
