MCSO Lt. Chad Brackman honored by fellow officers | Local-news

Gov. Doug Ducey ordered the flag with half-staff today, honoring mid-li for over 20 years at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Paul Penzone described Chad Blackman as a “good quality man” with a beautiful family with his wife, two children and two in-laws.

“So nice guy. I can tell you because I knew Chad. He has a beautiful family and they are all suffering, just like our organization and the law enforcement community,” Penzone reported at a press conference on November 10th.

Blackman was working in traffic control off-road at an intersection near 87th Avenue and McDowell Road when he was attacked by an SUV driver. He was taken to the honor of Scottsdale Osborne, who was seriously injured, and died.

The driver of the suspect who attacked him was also taken to hospital to treat him for his injuries, according to Scottsdale Police, the lead investigator.

Police said they were still in the first stages of the investigation and did not release any details about the driver or preliminary details about how the crash occurred.

On the evening of November 10th, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office carried the EU’s body inside the collapsed and conducted a procession for Scottsdale Osborne Honor Disease. Many MCSO officers were visibly upset as they praised the EU during the fall.
