The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office announced that it plans to charge those involved in the death of Ben Anderson.
Officials on Thursday said they were certain a person of interest was being targeted, but needed to comb through digital data and records to gather more information before filing charges.

The office has not provided a timeline for exactly when it plans to file charges with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, but MCSO says it “intends to charge the suspects regardless of what our analysis of the digital records reveals.” Stated.
It is unclear how many people MCSO plans to charge or what exactly those charges will be.
Anderson's body was discovered on Dec. 31, 2021, near Table Mesa Boulevard on Interstate 17 West after his car was found on fire in a parking lot 30 miles away. Ta.
Over the next several weeks, ABC15 spoke with Anderson's friend Daniel Stachowiak, who said Anderson canceled plans earlier in the day and was unable to contact his family, which is unusual for Anderson. He said there was. A missing persons report was filed, and Stachowiak attempted to search for him independently.
Stachowiak followed Anderson's car until it arrived at a hotel parking lot near Interstate 17 and Dunlap Avenue. Three people were in Anderson's car and drove off, police said.
Stachowiak tried to follow Anderson's car, but stopped when the people in the car started driving the wrong way on the access road.
Anderson's car was found burning in the parking lot next to the hotel where the chase began.
MCSO said it is aware of rumors that Anderson's case may be connected to other cases, but detectives found no obvious connection.
