The Grizzlies said Morant's MRI revealed an underlying tear in his lip that required surgery to repair. According to the Grizzlies, Morant is expected to make a full recovery and be 100% healthy by the beginning of the 2024-25 season.

Yes, he had his issues with guns and strip clubs and all that, but my guy seemed to have his head together and was just focused on his balls. That said, he's been playing well this season, averaging 25.1 points (47.1 FG%), 8.1 assists, and 5.6 rebounds per game.
Just recently, I was even thinking how unbelievable it is to see people taunt Jay just because he taunts everyone with his play on the court. And I was happy for him because I was rooting for him.
And then this. It's just brutal, dude.
