‘Men In Black’ Director Barry Sonnenfeld Spills On Will Smith’s Nasty Habit That Led To Evacuation Of Set

Film director Barry Sonnenfeld tainted one of Will Smith’s nasty habits that was bad enough to obliterate an entire movie set.

Kelly Ripa interviewed Sonnenfeld on Wednesday’s episode of her podcast, “Let’s Talk Off Camera.” Sonnenfeld described Smith as a “farter.”

The director told Ripa that Smith leaked lipstick while filming a scene with Tommy Lee Jones in a sealed vehicle. In the movie, the vehicle transforms into a hypercar in Manhattan’s Midtown Tunnel.

The crew rushed to retrieve the ladder, not knowing what kind of emergency had occurred.

The emergency was caused by an unbearable odor.

“So what happened is that Will Smith is a fart. It’s just that some people fart,” he said.

Sonnenfeld went on to explain the stench, saying, “You don’t want to be in a really small, enclosed space with Will Smith farting.”
