The Quad Cities ATHENA Leadership Awards not only celebrate, recognize and reward women’s leadership skills, career achievements, community service and leadership, but also promote what leadership looks like . ATHENA winners say this is powerful because it allows young and inexperienced women in the workplace to identify local role models they can talk to, observe and learn from in action .

On Sunday, September 24th, women from across the region will gather at the Starting Point in Prescott Gateway Mall for the 4th Annual Quad Cities ATHENA Leadership Awards High Tea. Quad City business news. They will hear stories of struggle and triumph, perseverance over fear, and how to find inner strength in the face of adversity. You will also learn how women lean toward their core values and aspirations for the future.
“I believe my life is a blessing and a blessing given to me. Giving back is what I believe I must do. It’s one of my beliefs, and winning the ATHENA award makes it even stronger,” said Teresa Teresa, 2018 Flagstaff ATHENA winner and Associate Professor of Practice Management at Northern Arizona University WA Franke College of Business. That’s what the ATHENA Awards represent.”
This year, QCBN will honor the individual winners of the traditional ATHENA Leadership Award, as well as presenting the ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award. Additionally, for the first time in Northern Arizona, the Quad Cities ATHENA Leadership Awards recognize companies and organizations that support, develop, and recognize women leaders with the ATHENA Organizational Leadership Awards.
Individuals, businesses and organizations are encouraged to nominate outstanding women leaders who are making a difference in their communities and paving the way for others to influence the future.
