The Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA) has announced the selection of a person familiar with the organization to fill the position of Vice President of Investor Relations.

Meredith Drennen, who served as the organization's director of operations from 2009 to 2014, is responsible for growing BBA's investor base and overseeing leadership exchange travel.

CEO and President Steve Ammons said: “Meredith's extensive experience in this field and her proven track record make her an invaluable asset.

“I am confident that under her leadership, we will not only strengthen our engagement with investors, but also advance our mission and bring new opportunities and growth to the Birmingham metropolitan area. ”

Drennen said she is looking forward to her new role.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to rejoin the BBA team and improve the way we serve businesses across the Birmingham metropolitan area,” she said. “We are excited to work together to dive in and design strategies that not only meet but exceed the needs of our valued investors and foster a thriving business community that we can all be proud of.”
