The Mets are chatty and here’s another example of why.
On June 20th, I wrote a blog titled “The Mets have not won single games since they downplayed the national anthem with LGBTQ+ Pride Flag.” Essentially, the New York Mets held “Pride Night” and during that time they decided to fly the LGBTQ+ flags in the beautiful American national anthem.
I wrote about how at the time, they hadn’t won a single game since the Mets hit the Rainbow Trany flag and then recorded 0-6. Well, it’s been a while, but it’s time to update that Y’All: Gay Month hasn’t gotten any better for the big city.
The Mets decided to fly a flag of disgust against the Tampa Bay Rays on June 13th. That’s where they landed the 0-6 mark. Next they played the Philadelphia Phillies and lost Two out of three In that series. And they’re playing another series against the Braves, so they’re on the brink of being swept again. (Related: Roger Clemens has a great response to President Trump, who sets laws.)
Overall, the Mets posted a 1-10 record. Yes, that was pretty miserable. However, this gets worse when you break down numbers, especially in aggressive production. In the last 11 games, the Mets have only scored 34 runs and only tallied 23 times in 10 losses.
If you don’t know baseball math, that’s scary. Let Grok break it down further for you:
“In summary, there are 34 runs in 11 games bad For MLB teams. score Run 34 times in 34 games Almost equal 3.09 Per Game Runs (RPG). In the context of MLB, the league average RPG (2023–2025) for recent seasons ranges between normal 4.4 and 5.0,This one Below average I’m leaning against poor performance. “
Yeah, that was pretty crap for the Mets, and no one blames themselves for flying that stupid flag.

Ah, how great was it to infringe the Mets as a Braves fan before continuing to kick their** tonight.
