With three stellar Grade A wins on the schedule, powered by five dominant blowouts, 2nd toughest schedule in the nation, Undefeated Miami Hurricanes (8-0) They are in prime position to win the national championship when the College Football Playoff begins. And that’s largely thanks to the Heisman Trophy candidate quarterback Cam Ward.
To this point in the 2024 season, Ward has an impressive 2,746 passing yards, 24 touchdowns, and just five interceptions, while ranking third in the nation with a QBR of 91.0. Oh, and what about passing yardage and touchdown records? (Related: Tennessee releases ridiculously gorgeous ‘dark mode’ uniforms. Video showing it off is from Pure Heat)
2nd best in the country. Yes, both.
He led his team to an undefeated record with a dominant performance, defeated their major rivals (Florida State and Florida State University), and became a state champion…sounds like a Heisman Trophy winner to me.
And the University of Miami officially launched his full-scale campaign, dropping a hype video promoting “HE1SMAN” on Tuesday morning.
