A man arrested in connection with the death of an Augusta University nursing student on the University of Georgia (UGA) campus on Thursday entered the United States illegally, sources tell News Nation.
Multiple sources at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Said News Nation reports Jose Antonio Ybarra, who was arrested Friday after 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley was found dead on UGA's campus, entered the U.S. illegally in 2022.
