Oh man, I'm so glad I switched to YouTube TV.
Now, with Disney and DirecTV battling over streaming rights, millions of fans are at risk of losing out on both the NFL and college football.
If no agreement is reached by September 1st, 11 million subscribers According to OutKick, they will lose ESPN. (RELATED: Nick Saban shows off Hollywood potential in amazing Vrbo commercial)
In the NFL, DirecTV subscribers will not be able to watch Aaron Rodgers' New York Jets take on the San Francisco 49ers on “Monday Night Football” on Sept. 7. Meanwhile, in college football, fans will be unable to watch the Louisiana State vs. USC game on Sept. 1, as well as the Florida State vs. Boston College game on Labor Day.
In 2023, a carriage dispute between Disney and Charter Communications led to a roughly two-week broadcast hiatus, and a new deal was signed between the two sides just hours before the “Monday Night Football” season was set to begin.

I remember back in the day DirecTV was the best brand when it came to television, and now DirecTV is about to lose ESPN?
This was after they lost their exclusivity with NFL Sunday Ticket, by the way.
In other words, the brand has declined, and at a significantly slower rate.
Sorry, I can't be part of that company. I'm joining YouTube TV.
