Faced with an Asiatic black bear that invaded a Vancouver farm’s enclosure on Sunday, the resolute miniature pig didn’t budge, causing the bear to back away in terror.
Surveillance camera footage shows Barbie Q the pig taking a striking stance and lunging at the black bear, as the bear got a little too close to reassure him. Fox13 Seattle reported.

The video shows the bear approaching Barbie Q, Barbie Q charging at the bear at the last moment, and the bear fleeing to a safe distance and raising its paws as if to say, “Calm down, brother.” (Related: Video showing bear cubs fishing on their own in a California backyard pond)
Owner Crystal Walls and her family were out at the time with four guardian dogs who usually guard the farm. CBC. Security camera footage reportedly shows the bear sitting for about 30 minutes after the encounter, before finally exiting the enclosure. Barbie Q was given an abdominal massage and a fruit snack for her professional heroism, the media reported.
