A crowd reportedly surrounded Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler and his wife Mackenzie Marcinek at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California, and grabbed his watch.
A large crowd of people flocked to the pair, and someone in the crowd allegedly approached Buehler and unbuttoned his shirt sleeve. ABC7 News It was reported on Wednesday. They tried to take his expensive watch from his hands, but the athlete did not notice at that time. Initial reports suggested the watch was worth more than $100,000. The make and model of the watch was not disclosed.
Field Level Media released a statement on behalf of Mr. Buehler’s representatives, confirming several details regarding the incident.
“After Walker’s final regular-season game started on September 27th, he and many other players did not travel to Colorado for the final regular-season series. That weekend, Walker and his wife, Mackenzie, “He was at the park watching a horse race,” the statement said. “This incident has been reported to police and is currently under investigation. According to SI, we are grateful that Walker and Mackenzie were not injured and Walker is focused on the playoffs,” the statement continued.
