‘Modern Family’ Star Sarah Hyland Reportedly Sees Masked Men Breaking Into Her Home

“Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland reportedly reviewed security camera footage and saw two masked men coming out of her home on Saturday.

Police said Hyland's Los Angeles home was burglarized as the sun was beginning to set, but it was still daylight when the suspect broke a window into the home. TMZAccording to TMZ, the famous actress wasn't home at the time, but was directly involved in the incident after receiving an alert from her home security system and seeing masked men coming out of her front door on a live stream.

Although Hyland wasn't actually at the crime scene, he observed the masked robbers with his own eyes.

According to TMZ, police were called to the scene immediately after receiving a report of the situation, but by the time they arrived, the burglars had already fled. Police began a search of the home to see if anyone was hiding there, and were able to confirm that no one had in fact broken into the house.

At this time, it's unclear if any items were stolen from Hyland's home. Any investigation would require Hyland to return to the scene and carefully inspect her belongings. There's no word on the amount of damage done to Hyland's home, according to TMZ.

Los Angeles has seen a surge in home burglaries this year, with stars including Marlon Wayans, Jonathan Tucker, Jada Pinkett Smith, Drake and Bhad Bhabie coming forward to say they were victims.
