Mohave Community College offers K-12 teaching certification to help local classrooms | Kingman Daily Miner

Mojave County – Mojave Community College offers post-bachelor’s degree programs for qualified applicants to pursue a teaching license.

The Arizona Department of Education has approved colleges in 2022 to provide bachelor’s degree holders with a pathway to pursue a K-12 teaching credential, according to a news release from MCC.

“This program is ideal for anyone currently working in a local school district, has a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, and wants to become a certified teacher in Arizona,” says MCC’s General Education and Transfer Director of Education Lucinda Roygers said. .

Many of our classes are designed to help students develop teaching strategies, assessment, planning, and classroom management skills.
