Montgomery’s 2024 Buckmasters Expo set for August

The annual Buckmasters Expo in Montgomery, Alabama, officially opens on August 16th, 17th and 18th.

The event offers families and hunting enthusiasts the opportunity to browse more than 300 booths stocked with hunting supplies. Booth hours are Friday 3:00pm to 8:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 7:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 5:00pm.

The expo will feature entertainment from some of the biggest names in the outdoor world, a Top Bow indoor archery tournament, Swifty Swine pig races and more.

The Harriot II Riverboat will also offer free rides on the Alabama River on Saturday and Sunday.

Additionally, there will be the Bulls & Buckmasters professional bull riding shows scheduled on Friday and Saturday nights, with free admission and additional entertainment before and after the event.

As part of the weekend, expo visitors will also be able to exhibit trophy bucks at the Buckmasters Trophy Records antler scoring area, where hunters can bring their own antlers to have them scored by BTR master scorers free of charge.

Special guests will be making appearances throughout the weekend, including Robert Arrington of Deer Meat for Dinner, suburban hunter from Seek One, social media sensation Aly from Alabama, and Alabama Grill Master Tim Van Doren.

The Buckmasters Expo is sponsored by the U.S. Army, Alabama Power, Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Montgomery, Riverside Chevrolet, Capitol Tractor and AG Credit.

The only admission cost is a can of food or a $1 donation that will benefit the Friendship Mission and the Salvation Army.

As in previous years, the expo will be held at the Renaissance Convention Center, located at 201 Tallapoosa Street in Montgomery, Alabama.
