U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) is running for the 1st District seat in the House of Representatives and believes in America First. However, Moore's campaign advertisement The ad, called “Tough Votes,” was released a few days ago, and APR discovered that the stock video included in the ad was created by a Russia-based artist.
In his ad, Moore argues that the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) are being used as weapons against former President Donald Trump and “conservative patriots.” The video shows a man holding an American flag at the 17-second mark, but the video is not American, or at least the owner of the video is not in the United States.
according to Pond 5, a stock media website, the video is owned by a user named utaem22 and is located in Russia. This video is described as follows: “A man proudly holds an American flag against a blue sky in a field. Concept of respect for the homeland and patriotism.”

Moore's use of the flag in the ad could also be interpreted as being disrespectful to the flag. according to This section constitutes content that is considered disrespectful to the national flag, and part i states that “the national flag should not be used for advertising purposes in any way.” This could similarly apply to other politicians who use the Star-Spangled Banner ostensibly to promote their election campaigns.
Moore is currently running against Rep. Jerry Carl (R-Mobile), a Republican who represents the 1st Congressional District. Moore represents the 2nd District, which has nearly a majority of the voting-age population, while the 1st District became more conservative after Alabama's congressional maps were redrawn in October. We got black people. Moore appears to have decided that the 1st District would be a better bet for him to remain in Congress, as black voters are largely aligned with the Democratic Party.
Moore and Karl are scheduled to debate on Jan. 24 at the Daphne Civic Center in Baldwin County. The event is sponsored by the Baldwin County Republican Executive Committee.
