Florida Republican Rep. Byron Donald, like Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, called on Democrats on Fox News Tuesday evening for a “childish” protest plan against President Donald Trump’s speech to Congress.
A small number of Congressional Democrats reportedly plan to protest Trump’s first joint speech in a variety of ways, with some people not present at all, and they allegedly bringing props. Omar told MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki” Monday that viewers and Republicans should prepare from Democrats on Tuesday evening.
Fox host Laura Ingraham performed a clip of Omar’s reaction to Donald on “The Ingraham Show,” asking for his response whether Democrats were trying to chase potential protest plans. (Related: Meet three hand-drawn dems to refute Trump’s “American Dream” speech)
“So, that’s the situation with sui generis. You can crush Trump like that, and you just disrespect him because he’s Trump,” Ingraham told Donald.
“Look, if you go out, it’ll be fine. Just more room at the Chamber of Commerce for the rest of us,” Donald said. “I really don’t care. My focus is to secure our borders. The Democrats have failed. What I really care about is sending people back to their home countries.”

More than dozens of Congressional Democrats have announced that guests to Trump’s speech have been fired from federal workers and others will be invited to several veterans. According to To the New York Times. Some Democrats are also expected to bring props such as noise makers, empty egg cartons and hand clappers. According to Go to Fox News.
During a discussion with MSNBC host Jen Psaki, Omar said “don’t be surprised” to see the “adjusted” efforts to send “messages,” and warned that there might also be “verbal responses” to some of Trump’s speech.
“They couldn’t really get out of war in the world on the world stage. They failed. Donald Trump is doing that. He’s focused on Americans. If they want to get up and go outside, that’s their business,” Donald said. “It shows how childish they were and how unsevere about American businesses.”
Hours before Trump’s speech, 22 Democrats released the same video on social media about denouncement of the president’s economic policies. The video also shows various lawmakers calling for Doge and Elon Musk claiming they have cut “critical government programs.”
