Democratic strategist Julian Epstein appeared on Fox Business on Monday to discuss what he said was a systematic failure within the party.
Between exterior In “Editing the Evening,” Epstein said Democrats are lost on the nature of effective governance and instead focus on divisive rhetoric and inefficient projects. Epstein also said the party was calling names, labeling its enemies as Nazis and racists, and labeling them as undermining constructive political discourse.
“They don’t know how to build it, and what Democrats do for the most part is that they call a lot of names. They’re Nazis and racist. We call people, but people can’t pinpoint anything in a positive sense that Democrats are actually doing to improve people’s lives,” Epstein said. “This segue to dogge’s thing is that they defend these institutions in an age of intense anti-institutional sentiment.”
Epstein also touched on what he perceived as unwillingness within the democratic rank to confront corruption and mismanagement.
“Democrats seem to be afraid of what will come out, whether it’s fraud, waste, or abuse. It’s culturally that some of these institutions were trying to promote by awarding their grants. “It was a revolution or whether it was a kurnism. The works that pointed out all the money that was supposed to go to Haiti yesterday in the New York Post, most of them ended up in DC NGOs,” Epstein added. “Instead of trying to solve the problem and actually do government work, there are a fair amount of chronism, there seem to be Democrats, they seem to be hidden, and the system’s most vicious abuse I want to hide it.”
Polls show Democrats are unhappy, with their approval ratings plummeting to just 31%, significantly lower than President Donald Trump, who hovered in the mid-50s. Epstein cited concerns from leading Democratic donors who say they are increasingly hesitant to fund what they see as undirected parties relying on outdated strategies. “It’s no wonder the Democrats are approved by 31%. As you pointed out, when you reach the number of Congress, [they] Trump is even lower while he’s in his mid-50s,” Epstein said.
Host Elizabeth MacDonald discussed a significant decline in donor support within the party.
Epstein replied.
“When I see the street protests and barricades they went last week and the previous week, they look like an old man’s escape from St. Elizabeth’s coast. It’s like a bad Saturday night live skit And you know, we’re all constantly complaining with that person in our group of friends, always being negative and never having anything positive “I’m doing that,” Epstein said.
Democrats are like that Enthusiast They face a serious hurdle to revamp their party following President Trump’s November victory: lack of funds. From major bundlers to small contributors, Democrats say they are unhappy with the results of the last election and the lack of inspiration from recent party initiatives.
A recent poll says Congressional Democratic American approval has fallen to a record low of 21%, but Congressional Republicans have reached the highest ever confirmed. A Quinnipiac University poll said 68% of voters disapproved of Democrats’ performance in Congress, while 11% say they withhold their opinions.
The Harvard Cap/Harris poll says 58% of voters prefer Trump to former President Joe Biden, looking back at the first month of Trump’s second term with a 52% approval rating. Additionally, 72% of voters support the creation of government agencies dedicated to efficiency initiatives.
