Mother Gets Chilling Photo Before Finding Abandoned Camper of Missing Daughter

Missing Florida Woman During Cross-Country Trip

A Florida woman has gone missing while on a road trip, following unsettling messages she sent to her mother.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the public for help in locating 38-year-old Ganna Kovrizhynkh, who was last reported missing in July. According to authorities, a friend brought her disappearance to their attention on July 12, 2025. The family last communicated with Kovrizhynkh as she was driving through San Diego County on July 5. Her vehicle and trailer were found in Potrero, a small community close to the Mexican border.

Details surrounding her final communications are concerning. On July 5, Kovrizhynkh’s mother received a photo of a letter from Potrero, California, along with GPS coordinates. The letter seemed to instruct her mother to take control of her personal assets. A week later, a trailer linked to Kovrizhynkh’s Jeep Grand Cherokee and camper van was found abandoned near Potrero Park Drive.

Authorities have reason to believe she may have crossed into the Tecate area of Baja California, Mexico, and she might be using the alias “Angel Volnaya.”

The investigation remains unclear. Law enforcement has expressed uncertainty about whether any foul play is involved or if she departed of her own accord. “Right now, we don’t have any solid beliefs either way,” noted Jacob Krepach in an interview with a local news outlet.

Kovrizhynkh’s last known residence was in Hallandale Beach, Florida, where she reportedly had business ties in Sunny Isles Beach. A contact at the business location mentioned that she hadn’t been in touch for several months.

Kovrizhynkh is approximately 5’5″ tall and weighs around 100 pounds, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and some tattoos on her arms. There’s a possibility she could be wearing a wig.
