A driver was taken to the hospital Friday morning after being shot in the head while driving near Los Angeles, according to reports.
According to a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) spokesperson, a report of an assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the Vermont Vista neighborhood just after midnight on Friday. Confirmed KTLA. The driver remains in critical condition.
Responding officers found a Hispanic man in his 50s with a gunshot wound to the head, the report said. The victim's name has not been released.
