Flora-Bama's annual “Mullet Toss” contest has become one of the most iconic beach parties in the entire South.
Over the weekend, bar-goers and beach-goers competed to see who could throw a mullet the furthest. The event also featured a very special and unexpected guest:
Alabama coaches Cullen DeBoer and Nate Oats, along with Jalen Milroe and Malachi Moore, participated in the Flora Alabama Interstate Mullet Toss.

Nate Oats, Jalen Milroe, Malachi Moore and Cullen DeBoer were just a few of the legends who attended the event, with Moore and Milroe even taking part in the dead fish tossing.
Milroe was joined by former national championship-winning Tide quarterback Jake Coker.
But Coker, who appeared on 105.5 WNSP in Mobile on Monday to explain the situation, said his fish went farther than Milroe's.
“I don't know exactly how far it was yet. They said Jalen threw it like 90 feet and Flora-Bama said they'd call me and let me know when the mullet landed, so I don't know the exact distance yet,” Coker joked with a laugh.
Coker also joked that DeBoer and Oats didn't pitch because they were scheduled to shake hands at a Yeah Alabama event in Orange Beach later that day and didn't want to smell like fish.
“Jalen is [Milroe] In the same vein, he just grabbed that mullet with two fingers and threw it out there and I don't think he took it too seriously.”
He went on to reveal that his fish was thrown about 140 feet, making Jake Coker the undisputed Alabama fish-throwing champion.
But Milroe wants Coker to accomplish something better this season than he did: win a national championship.
