Have you ever gone all out on a bet? …And that’s exactly what the Nashville Predators are doing here.
The Nashville Predators had a big day on the first day of NHL free agency on Monday, signing superstar Steven Stamkos2023 Conn Smythe Award Winner Jonathan Marchessault Carolina Hurricanes Defense Brady Squeegee.
Stamkos signed a four-year contract with the Predators. $8 million Marchessault joins Nashville on a five-year contract worth $5.5 million per year. The Predators also brought in a backup goalie, making for an even crazier day. Scott WedgwoodHe signed a two-year, $3 million contract.
In Barry Trotz's first season as general manager, Nashville made the postseason but ended up losing in the first round.
