NAU Sets Out for Three-Match Road Trip

Flagstaff, Aliz. (April 3, 2025) – The NAU Men’s Tennis Team is preparing for three games against Idaho and Washington. Now will take on Eastern Washington, Lewis Clark and Idaho on the three-day road.

Lumberjacks will begin a road trip in Cheney, Washington, and close in Idaho with the Vandals at a scheduled neutral site meeting with Lewis Clark in the middle of the Big Sky Contest.

Entering these three matchups, Nau is considering bounce 4-3 from his final match against UTSA Road Runner. Dani Torres, Takagi from Katsuda and Matty Lange He was the only lumberjack to win a singles victory.

The Lumberjacks are trying to keep their undefeated record at 4-0 Big Sky as they try to push to 6-0. Nau is currently number one in Big Sky standings with Montana right behind, with the lumberjack defeated 7-0 on March 16th.

The two big skyschools NAU plays on road trips are in Idaho and eastern Washington. Idaho is currently 3-1 in the Big Sky Matchup, with one loss 5-2 from Montana. Eastern Washington is 1-2 at Big Sky with an overall record of 4-13.

When the Lumberjacks played these two schools last, they claimed a victory, a 7-0 victory over the Eagles and a 5-2 victory over the Vandals.
