Navajo Police Seek Two Suspects in Armed Robbery
The Navajo Police Department in the Window Rock District is currently investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Sinclair gas station in Fort DeFaance on Saturday morning.
This incident happened around 8:45 a.m. when two men entered the store. One was armed with a baton, while the other wielded an iron tire wrench. One of the suspects jumped over the counter, threatened the employees with the wrench, and demanded cash from the register. The employees complied, giving them an undisclosed amount of money, and then both suspects fled on foot heading east along Route 54.
The police have provided descriptions of the suspects. The individual with the baton wore a light green sweater, a white mask, and had short hair. The second suspect, who had the tire wrench, was dressed in a black pullover sweater, baggy shorts, and also wore a black mask.
